There is a big clue here, it is called Fleur Blance, white flower, and for the simple reason that the aromas are reminiscent of acacia, elderflower and apple blossom. These aromas were found by a group of us during a blind tasting so we agree with the choice of name for this wine. So what is this wine? It is a blend of Rousanne and Chardonnay coming from Mas des Agrunelles nestled between Pic St Loup and Gignac. This is a collaboration between two young winemakers who dare to try new things. In spite of the delicate floral aromas this is a powerful wine, well balanced, smooth and fruity. Serve around 9°C, give or take, with trout from the Gorge du Tarn un little bit further north if you are nearby if not a trout from your local fishmonger.
