Situated very close to the Garonne, on the high plateau of Portets, the soil is, as you would expect, gravely. Five generations of the Daubas family has worked the vineyards and produced really delicious wines. This is a blend of Semillon (70%) and Sauvignon (30%). The balance between acidity and fruit content is perfect. These guys have kept it simple, let the quality of the harvest do the talking. Floral aromas and light apple flavours on the palate. Stands up well to a roast chicken, stuffed with lemon and herbs even.
