The property on the label of this wine is where the Daubas family live and work, where they have done for five generations since the 19th Century, the wine is as impressive as this beautiful girondine château. A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet grown on vignes planted in the gravelly soil and managed in a tradition way. The harvest was all carefully done by hand, the resulting wine has a warm inviting colour, generous flavours of blackcurrant and plum and a finish that does not fade for some time. Good solid Bordeaux the way it should be.
