This is a very pleasant wine, a blend of Mauzac, Loin de l'oeil and Sauvignon Blanc.  There is a thin layer of soil that sits on top of chalky rock.  Tthe roots break through and brings an agreeable minerality to the wine balanced with a crunchy apple base mixed with subtle apricot and peach.  A smashing wine that tickles the tongue.  Chinese take-away may be the ideal accompaniment on a thursday evening in front of the telly.
