We have found a wine that will quickly become a favourite amongst the lovers of sweeties. Here they benefit from a continental climate with very little rainfall. This means there is very little rot and allows the wines to keep an aromatic freshness. This wine is 100% Gros Manseng, a grape variety that rarely leaves the area, which stays on the vines until the very last moment, as long as mid December, without rotting. It is entirely produced in new oak barrels for nine months. It is a dark gold, lovely aromas of dried apricot and honey lead to smooth vanilla flavours complimented with a touch of toastiness. With a piece of fois gras to start an evening or a lightly sweetened dessert to finish this is an ideal wine.
