A wine from Eric Chevalier, who has rapidly grown in reputation outside his native region of the Pays de Retz just South of Nantes.  If his Sauvignon Blanc has a nod to the New World his Chardonnay is a real French wine and particulary a wine that will accompany a plate of Fruits de Mer from the Atlantic Ocean.  This Chardonnay has yellowy lime colour and delivers lively aromas of white fruit, melon and peaches.  On the palate there is a finesse and minerality whch gives a long finish.
