The geology stretches (so we were told we didn't go visiting with spades) from along the Loire, where the classic Chenin Blanc is made, all the way to this corner of France touching the Atlantic. With the careful choice of the where the vines should be planted this grape variety flourishes. Aromas leap from the glass and excites the nose. The flavours are rich with hints of apricot and peach with the typical honey notes. Fresh on the palate this wine should go very well a lovely grilled dorade.
