Penedès, the most important region in Catalonia, and Raventós have gone hand in hand since the nineteenth century. However this is a thoroughly modern wine, 80% Merlot, 10% Syrah and 10% Garnacha, French oak and a designer label. The wine is packed with dark and red fruits with a soft tannic structure. This will compliment a roast beef or a tomato based dish.
