The grapes were carefully collected from vineyards on the Wairau plains.  Then using various methods the maximum flavours and colours were extracted with the end result having lovely balance with plenty of crunchy acidity.  Their own tasting sheets say there are notes of boysenberry but I don’t know what they are so I’ll not mention it.
