During the nineties the vineyards of Argentina were greatly transformed from something that produced wine that could be described as inferior and only really suited for the domestic market to a much more appropriate for the international palate with the planting of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. This wine is a great example of what is now being produced following the hard work. It is a deeply coloured wine with hints of purple with a soft oakiness and intense fruit flavours of blackcurrant, black cherry and bramble. The finish is warm and long. The wine will keep but is ready to drink now.
