This is their top of the range.  The grapes were harvested as late as possible, towards the end of April, therefore maximizing the fruit content.  A healthy quantity of Syrah was added to the mix and left to mature in French oak for 18 months.  Deep ruby red wine with aromas of blackcurrant, red berries and a trace of vanilla. On the palate, its superb structure of firm and ripe tannins make it ideal to accompany meat dishes with sophisticated sauces and overripe cheeses.  This is a big wine full and flavours and could be cellared for up to 10 years.
